British boy band JLS and Nashville pop band Hot Chelle Rae will appear at Six Flags on Monday, August 9.

JLS, short for Jack the Lad Swing, was runner-up on the British reality talent show "The X Factor" in 2008. Their first two singles, "Beat Again" and "Everybody in Love," went to No. 1 in the U.K., and the group's self-titled debut album sold more than 1 million copies and won numerous awards.

The group this year signed an American record deal with Jive Records, the home of Justin Timberlake and Backstreet Boys, and released "Everybody in Love" as its debut U.S. single. The group released the song "The Club Is Alive" as the lead single from its second studio album in the U.K.

Hot Chelle Rae, also on Jive Records, released its debut "Lovesick Electric," a collection of guitar-driven dance rock, in October. The first single was "I Like to Dance."
