Aerie's Winery opened in 2000 as a seasonal weekend wine bar. Nestled high atop the bluffs overlooking the confluence of the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers, the deck at Aerie’s offers the BEST VIEW IN THE MIDWEST!! The winery is highlighted by a permanent roof over the deck which overlooks the rivers, a patio area that includes a large fire pit. In 2009 a kitchen was added that offers up wonderful appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and artisan pizzas that Aerie’s has become known for. In 2011, Aerie’s opened a beer garden below the deck. The beer garden has a full service bar, eight tap handles, and is climate controlled for those chilly fall and winter evenings. Aerie’s also has cottages designed for a couple get away, a lodge and our new Aerie’s Vacation Villas. Aerie’s features wines from around the world. The wine list is constantly changing, featuring new wineries and new labels from established vintners.
Aerie’s is open year round, seven days a week, excluding Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. During the summer when Grafton is jumping with people and boaters, Aerie’s offers a great place to enjoy the outdoors and unwind. Live music weekends on the deck all summer long, featuring one man bands and singer songwriters. And in the winter, come inside while still enjoying the view.
